Gangsta Pico picosecond laser is a device for removing pigments, generating pulses of duration measured in picoseconds, which means an increase in the efficiency of removing pigments, including colored pigments, and reducing the time to achieve a satisfactory treatment effect.

The effect of the pulse measured in picoseconds generated by the picosecond laser is mainly a photoacoustic effect limited to the particle of pigment to be removed with a small photothermal component, in contrast to the effect generated by the Q-Switched laser pulse measured in nanoseconds, where photothermolysis by photothermal reaction occurs, with a smaller photomechanical effect, and the effects of the photothermal reaction are transmitted to the tissues surrounding the pigment. By using a picosecond laser, more concentrated energy is delivered to the chromophore (which is the pigment), which gives the possibility to use lower fluence values, and this translates into the safety of the procedure.

APPLICATIONS:

Removal of permanent makeup and tattoos:

The Gangsta Pico laser effectively removes tattoos and permanent makeup by emitting short pulses of light measured in picoseconds. The pulses are absorbed selectively by the dye. Destruction of the dye takes place, and its microfragments are absorbed and excreted through the lymphatic system.

Effective for all skin types. Removes pigment to a depth of 5mm.Each color of pigment absorbs a different wavelength. Gangsta Pico generates wavelengths of:

– 1064mn – for all dark colors

– thanks to the use of KTP crystal – 532nm – for shades of red

– 585nm

– 650mn

Removal of discoloration:

Removal of hyperpigmentation with picosecond laser is possible due to high absorption of laser radiation by melanin. For the reduction of epidermal and epidermal-epidermal hyperpigmentation, the 532nm beam is recommended, and for dermal hyperpigmentation, the 1064nm beam is recommended.

Carbon peeling/Carbon peeling:

A treatment that involves the removal of colloidal carbon paste from the skin of the face, neck and décolleté with laser radiation. The carbon particles penetrate the bumps and pores of the skin and absorb the energy of the ND-YAG laser light, which causes the preparation to evaporate immediately along with impurities. The Genesis treatment is not only a skin rejuvenation treatment, but also helps the skin to regenerate, stimulates collagen production, and succeeds in getting rid of the most common skin problems, such as cracked capillaries, erythema, enlarged pores or hyperpigmentation.

The 1064nm laser beam with GENESIS lens heats up the upper layers of the dermis, which stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen fibers and elastin.
